Watermelon Moon and Stars

(Citrullus lanatus)  Rare heirloom rediscovered in 1910.  Medium to large, dark green, oval fruit covered with pea-sized bright yellow 'stars' and usually one larger 'moon'.  Leaves are also spotted yellow.  Sweet, pink flesh with brown seeds.  Stores well due to thick skin.  3-4 fruit per plant.  90-100 days.
